About ApplianceChain
ApplianceChain is an on-site appliance industry partner. We work from Shunde, in Foshan, Guangdong, inside one of China’s densest clusters for small household appliances. Our job is to turn a product brief into a manufacturing path you can see, check and hold us to — before money moves and while production runs.
What an on-site partner actually does
Most overseas customers do not fail because they picked the wrong product. They fail because nobody was standing in the factory while the decisions that mattered were being made. Distance turns a manageable problem into a shipment-level surprise.
We sit between your brief and the production floor. That means the person coordinating your order can drive to the line, look at the reference sample, ask why a component was substituted, and send you a photograph the same day. It is not glamorous work. It is the difference between a specification that survives contact with production and one that quietly changes.
We do not manufacture. We make the manufacturing visible enough that you can commit with your eyes open.
What we do
We read your brief against what factories in the cluster actually build well, and shortlist the lines that fit rather than the ones that answer fastest.
Business scope, manufacturing scope, process evidence, sample performance and target-market requirements are checked against your project. Project-specific, not a certificate for its own sake.
Specifications are written down, the approved sample stays the reference, and checkpoints are attended while the order runs — not only at the end.
What was checked, what was found, and what the batch looked like when it left. Records you can compare against your next order.
What we do not do
Boundaries matter more than promises. These are ours.
We do not own production lines and we do not manufacture under our own name. The factories remain independent production parties, named to you.
We are not a certification body or an accredited laboratory. When independent testing or inspection is needed, we coordinate it and pass the original report to you.
There is no honest MOQ, lead time or price that applies to every product. Those are confirmed against your configuration, market and order plan.
Our qualification is project-specific coordination, not an accredited factory audit. If you need a formal audit, we will say so and help you arrange it.
How a project runs
Product, target market, quantity, timing and the requirements that are already fixed.
Candidate lines that fit the brief, with the reason each one stayed or dropped.
The approved sample becomes the written reference the production run is held to.
Agreed checkpoints during the run, with records, not a single inspection at the end.
Shipment release against the agreed scope, with the documents your market requires.
Why being on site matters
Shunde, in Foshan, Guangdong, is one of China’s densest clusters for small household appliances. Tooling shops, component suppliers, assembly lines and test houses sit close enough to reach in a day. That density is useful only if someone is actually there to use it — to check a tooling change before it is cut, to see a substitution before it is packed, and to answer a question while it is still cheap to answer.
It also has limits. Not every category is strong here, not every factory is export-ready, and a good cluster does not make a bad brief workable. Part of our job is telling you early when Shunde is the wrong answer.
Who we work with
Extending a range into a category you do not manufacture yourself.
An existing platform, your brand, your packaging — with the constraints made explicit.
A concept that needs a controlled development path rather than a supplier list.
Repeat orders where consistency between batches matters more than the first sample.
Listings that need packaging, labelling and market compliance to hold up.
Where you already have a factory, our role can be limited to on-site coordination of one order.
The honest boundary
Qualification is project-specific. It is not an accredited audit, and it is not a guarantee that a factory will perform the same way on your tenth order as on your first. What we can do is keep the evidence visible: what was checked, by whom, what the result was, and what remains unconfirmed. Where something cannot be confirmed, we would rather say so in writing than let a document imply more than it should.
Every record we issue names the factory, the model, the issuer and the validity of what is being shown. If a document does not let you tell those four things apart, it is not doing its job.
The other pieces of the picture
Tell us what you are trying to build
Product, market, quantity and timing are enough to start. We will tell you what we can confirm, what needs checking, and what Shunde may not be the right answer for.
We reply in working hours, China time (GMT+8).
